As we celebrate 15 years of care at Bobby’s Hospice, we want to take a moment to recognize one of our incredible team members - Jill Seeley, LPN.
Jill has been with us since the very beginning, when our doors first opened, and her dedication, kindness, and compassion have touched countless patients and families over the years. Her commitment to providing comfort and dignity at end-of-life truly embodies the heart of hospice care.
Thank you, Jill, for 15 years of unwavering service and for being such an essential part of the Bobby’s Hospice family.

1. What drew you to initially apply for work with Bobby’s Hospice?
Since entering the health care field I had always been drawn to palliative care. I felt it was a privilege to care for people at the end of their life and that everyone deserves to be provided comfort and dignity, so when my best friend was going to work at Bobby’s hospice she knew I would love it there and arranged an interview.
2. What has been a noticeable organizational change over the past 15 years? What is something that has remained constant?
Like anything change is an inevitable part of growing, the organization has understandably grown and will continue to do so we have improved as a business which helps with our costs. The administration staff are always looking at new and innovative ways to increase our donations and keep our cost down. The most important thing that hasn’t changed over the years is our compassion and dedication to our patients and their family
3. What piece of advice would you share with a new Hospice employee?
To any new employee that comes to hospice my advice would be, to be flexible and adaptable when going about your day. The main focus for us is our patient and their families and sometimes we need to push our own agenda and beliefs aside to do what’s best for our patients and keep the philosophy that this is “their journey, their way”
4.What would you say to a member of our community who has chosen to support Bobby’s Hospice?
THANK YOU! It’s so important to have the support of our community this is what gives us the ability to provide quality care, if it wasn’t for all the work that everyone does from our donors, volunteers, administration staff, hospice shoppe staff, housekeeping, cooks, maintenance staff and nurses we would not be able to do what we do. It takes many hands to keep our “ village” going and every single bit helps.
