Our friends at the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation are leading a meaningful Giving Tuesday campaign in support of our residents — and we’re excited to help share their message. 💛

Last year, the Foundation introduced a sensory cart that quickly became a resident favourite, creating moments of calm, connection, and joy throughout our homes. The impact was felt by everyone — residents, families, and staff alike.

This year, the Foundation hopes to add multiple new sensory carts, and they’ve created an easy way to support: an Amazon Wishlist filled with items that will directly go into these carts.

We’re excited to share that Loch Lomond Villa has launched a new pilot collaboration with HomeCare by Design to strengthen senior care and support aging in place!

This collaboration will bring preferred home care services directly to the Loch Lomond Villa community, ensuring tenants can access additional support as their needs change — all while staying in the place they call home.

What this means for our community:
• Seamless, familiar care with no transitions
• Support that helps seniors remain independent
• Personalized, person-centred services
• Early awareness of health changes
• Reassurance for families
• LLV staff and HomeCare by Design caregivers working together as one team

Yesterday, we gathered to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
Our residents and staff came together for a heartfelt Remembrance Day ceremony to pay tribute to our veterans. We are deeply grateful for their service and courage.
