Today, we pause to remember. We honour the bravery & service of those who came before us. May we embody their strength by nurturing peace in our own hearts, our communities, & our world.

Lest we forget.

As many of you are aware I am preparing to have a baby this Spring & will be taking a maternity leave.

At this time I am uncertain of when I will be stepping away from the clinic.

Due to this I am unable to accept any NEW pelvic health clients as I would be unable to provide the follow up required. I’d hate to get started then abruptly have to stop your care due to me needing to be off.

There are some amazing pelvic health physiotherapists relatively close by. I recommend contacting them directly to book.

✨ the town physio: Lauren Richardson. 506-652-5222 📍Saint John, NB. .physio

✨ human performance Center: Patricia Sennett. 506-738-8299 📍Grand Bay Westfield, NB.

Any other pelvic physios I’m missing? Email me your contact information & I’ll share with clients. 😊

This does not apply to current clients who are already scheduled. Or any non-pelvic clients as we will transition your care to another physiotherapist when needed.

Thank you for your continued support on this new life adventure ❤️

So excited to finally share that I’ve been appointed as an Adjunct Clinical Associate with the School of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University! ❤️

As a proud Dal Physio grad, this truly feels like a full circle moment. I’m so grateful for the chance to support & mentor current students, & to give back to the program that helped shape who I am as a physio today.

Can’t wait to connect, learn & grow alongside the next generation of amazing Dal physio students! 🙌🏻✨

Today is World Mental Health Day.

A reminder that our mental well-being is just as vital as our physical health. Awareness matters because when we normalize conversations about mental health, we break stigma, create connection, & make it easier for others (and ourselves) to seek support.

✨ Check in with yourself & your loved ones:
Ask, “How am I really doing?” Then ask again, listen without judgment, whether it’s to your own inner voice or someone else’s. Small, genuine check-ins can make a big difference.

🌿 Three steps to support your mental health today:

1) Move your body mindfully: even a 10-minute walk or gentle stretch can calm your nervous system.

2) Pause & breathe: take three slow breaths to reset, ground, & come back to the present moment.

3) Connect intentionally: reach out to someone you trust. Share something real, or simply let them know you care.

Your mental health deserves daily attention. Not just today, but every day. ✨

Happy Thanksgiving 🍂

A reminder that the clinic will be closed Friday October 10th- Monday October 13th for the Thanksgiving long weekend. We will reopen Tuesday October 14th at 8:30 am.

Let this be your reminder that during the Thanksgiving weekend be sure to pause & breathe. Take advantage of the fabulous fall weather we’ve been having & feel your feet on the earth.

Gratitude isn’t a thought, it’s a full body experience. Take notice of the breath moving through you, the strength in your body & the stillness within.

This is presence. This is enough.

& when the energy gets loud, when family may bring up the past or push your buttons & you feel like you’re absorbing everything.. return to your body.

Ground through your feet.
Breathe into your belly & rib cage.
Soften your jaw.
Remind your nervous system that you’re safe.

Let presence be your boundary. Let gratitude be your anchor. ❤️

What are you grateful for right now? Feel free to share.

I’m grateful for:
✨ my body handling the transitions & growth of pregnancy.
✨ my support system for healing me navigate this new journey.
✨ the weather we’ve been having!
✨ not having to cook supper all weekend long!! 🙌🏻

Hello October 🍂🎃

It’s officially birthday week / month. I turn the big 3️⃣7️⃣ 🥳

My goal for this month is to add back in some light physical activity now that I’m in my second trimester & finally starting to feel a little less sick (all of the time).

I’m adding back in yin yoga with , will be joining my bestie Monday night yoga class & swimming laps with my friend Erin at least once a week. Plus Char🐶 will finally get some walks with mom.

Do you have any goals for this month? I’d love to hear them!

Happy Autumn Equinox 🍂

As the day & night find perfect balance today, nature yet again reminded us to pause, reflect & realign. The Autumn equinox marks a sacred shift, inviting a time to let go of what no longer serves us, just as the trees show us how beautiful it can be to let things go. ✨

In both body & mind let this day be your invitation to slow it down, breathe deeply & embrace the beauty of change. Whether it’s old tension, unhelpful habits or those nasty limiting beliefs, release with grace.

What are you ready to let go of this season?

Me? I’m letting go of the limiting belief that I need to be productive all the god damn time to be successful. Pregnancy is showing me (& humbling me) that slowing down & prioritizing rest are so important (& necessary) for both me & my growing babe. 🤍 & what better time to slow down than entering cozy season?

Let the crisp air & grounding energy of Autumn guide you inward. From this place of stillness, there becomes space for healing, clarity & new beginnings. 🌿

🇨🇦🇺🇸 We remember.

Though we’re Canadians, the events of September 11th, 2011, touched us all deeply. We remember exactly where we were, watching in shock, heartbreak & disbelief.

Today, we honour the thousands of lives lost, the bravery of first responders, & the strength shown in the face of tragedy.

Ours hearts are with our American neighbours. Today & always ❤️
