This year marks a powerful milestone: 30 years of Black History Month in Canada. At Kindred, we are proud to join the national celebration of “Black Brilliance Across Generations.”

From weekly micro-learning sessions for our teams to supporting local Black-owned businesses in New Brunswick, we are dedicated to turning reflection into action. We believe that by learning from one another’s histories, we can provide deeper care and build a more inclusive community.

We’re proud to recognize Grace L for her outstanding initiative, compassion, and commitment to truly holistic care.

💡 We see challenge as opportunity - When one of her clients faced a period of hardship, Grace didn’t hesitate. She went far beyond the expected, taking proactive steps to ensure their immediate and long-term needs were met by:
visiting the local food bank to secure groceries, requested an emergency food box from the Salvation Army, and helped fill out forms with a non-profit organization to assist the client in obtaining essential furniture.

This is care that extends well beyond the basics - it’s care that changes lives. Thank you, Grace!💙👏

This past Saturday, our team was honored to give back by sponsoring and volunteering at a breakfast for the Stepping Stones Senior Centre.

From serving breakfast to helping with cleanup, we were proud to support over 125 local seniors and connect with such an incredible community. Giving back to seniors is at the heart of what we do - and this is just the beginning.💙🍳

As I came home tonight from deliveries, I turned the corner to my apartment hallway and this stopped me in my tracks! 😳😳😳 Holy. Smokes.
