Are you moving too fast to notice?

It never ceases to amaze me how much I notice when I take a break from my walk and just sit. Sit in the silence of footsteps, waiting, watching. It is when the mind finally settled and my gaze softens, widens, and blurts that the hidden details pop out.

Take a moment to pause today.

Join us for a family friendly casual walk in the park to talk all things plants! Meet the local plant life that can nourish you through food and medicine growing right under your toes! Kids 12 under are FREE.

First Saturday 11am; Second Monday 6pm; Third Tuesday 6pm

It has been a wet season, and I'm loving it.

A long stress packed school year and mending a broken ankle, I'm not able to jump onto the spring trails just yet. Sitting in the dark listening to the rain or hobbling to a little creek so immerse myself in the gentle sounds of nature is a perfect nervous system regulator.

I have been working so hard in furthering my education this past year, I missed summer! I am grateful to have had the perfect week in Boreal Forest with my friend Wendy Upfold Beauregard at Around the Bend Studio & Retreat to nerd out on plants, explore, swim in the spring fed lakes, kayak, and relax!

Such a great host, friend, andcominity herbalist.
