New schedule for the Summer 🌺☀️

A friendly reminder to prebook your appointments as I am currently booking out ~3 weeks ahead. If you are a current evening/weekend patient, I recommend booking for the remainder of the year if possible as I only have a handful of spots left.

*Saturdays are currently full until September. Please contact me if you would like to be placed on a cancellation list.

THINGS YOU SHOULD BE DOING AFTER YOUR MASSAGE ⬇️

🚰 Muscles become dehydrated throughout your massage, so it’s important to drink plenty of water to rehydrate them and prevent them from feeling sore.

🙆🏻‍♀️ Stretching after treatments can keep joints mobile, maintain the looseness in muscles and improve flexibility. A post-massage stretch can also alleviate any pain or soreness you may feel following a treatment.

🛀 Using a heating pad for 15 minutes following a massage prolongs your sense of relaxation, helps to induce a deeper night’s sleep, and may prevent muscle soreness.

🥑 Massages make you feel hungry due to the increase of blood circulation, which stimulates the digestive system. A heavy meal may make you feel sluggish, bloated and tired rather than energized. Opt for a lighter, healthier snack instead.

🤕 It is normal to feel a little sore after your massage (similar to DOMS), but it’s not normal to feel pain several days after. If you do, this is a sign your RMT may have gone too deep. Make note of any sore areas and inform your therapist next time you see them so they can modify their treatment.

😴 Try and prolong your feeling of calmness and listen to your body. Rest, read a book, watch TV, do anything that relaxes you both physically and mentally.
