Hello and welcome!

I’m Cynthia Herr - registered social worker, psychotherapist, and the founder of Refined Wellness Counselling Services. After years of working in hospitals and community mental health agencies, one thing became crystal clear to me. Living with chronic physical and mental health issues is HARD! Too often, I saw amazing people struggling with illnesses that seemed to take over their lives.

Clients who felt they had so little control over their health and life … feeling as though their health issues were taking over their lives - and not in a good way! People who found themselves experiencing little joy in life, struggling in the health care system, and encountering major challenges trying to connect with services that they needed.

As a result of these experiences, I created Refined Wellness Counselling Services – a place where people can access mental health therapy to talk about the real issues that can sidetrack our lives.
