Today’s Friday reflection - Thank you to everyone for loving on our kitten Chloe. She’s off to a new home today and she is basking in all of the love given to her.

And just like me being a cat grandma, my office reflection is on the multi-generations we see here at the office for chiropractic. At launch last week we were reminiscing how in Calgary we used to see so many more grandparents + parents + kids together for care; lo and behold this week had grandmothers + granddaughters, mothers + daughters. It is special to be a part of your families and that this care is excellent for all ages. Thank you!

Pause & Celebrate is this Tuesday's theme - the Monday motivational quote has moved to Tuesday's thoughts as I was having a pause yesterday. While the day off was planned for a friend's 50th Birthday Celebration, it was also perfect timing to pause after our successful completion of the Launch-A-Preneur program. A nice reminder to pause and celebrate along the way!

Made it to the end! Launchapreneur season 7 is officially complete after 10 weeks of classes and work.

Now the real work begins.

For a short week, this one sure packed a lot in!

Tonight-after 10 weeks-is our launch-a-preneur finale. Last night Scott and I presented to a gracious panel of 3 and chatted about Network care and our community and what’s ahead. Around all of this, a full week of practice members, a few new faces and returning ones, some flare-up of symptoms, some calming, some new a-ha’s at how our body is connected. Some lovely healing waves to spread out through the community. And the Aurora borealis this week, wow!

Weekend plans?

I’ll be reading my Pathways magazine that just arrived while sitting at the curling rink and feeding & chauffeuring girls.

It’s been a week-we had to say goodbye to our doggie Dasha, Business plan for Launch & our expansion was submitted, Birthday girl 🎂was celebrated, met many of Scott’s Toyota co-workers (Good Different!), Practice members were seen-fun fact: this week ages ranged from 1-83! And we had more new life on the farm (always!)

November is the month of Gratitude!

I am back in the office this week & have returned to regular chiropractic evening hours now that our Launch-A-Preneur classes are finished. I am grateful we have finished up a fun weekend of Halloween, costumes, and my youngest kid's first curling weekend of the season.

The Roles We Play

I'm finishing my week up as a Witch Doctor
Last night I was a Hairdresser (and pink hair dye is everywhere)
This week I have been a Registrar for our youngest daughter's Curling League – spreadsheets are still swimming before my eyes.
And a Student in my last week of Launch-A-Preneur classes
A Business Owner writing a business plan and again so many spreadsheets.
Also an Entrepreneur attending Salmon Arm's Business Forum.
A Mom, Wife, Hurried Cook, Taxi, Farmer, Pet Owner, Friend...did I get them all?
I have been Dr Jo, Dr Josephene, all versions of my name. (and yes, had conversations about Dr Joe Dispenza too!
During my work hours as a Chiropractic Doctor, I have seen practice members travelling from as close/ far as Kelowna, Sicamous & Chase. I have seen people in so many roles and who have an impact both with local community members/kids and with people and businesses on a global scale.
It is wild how all of these souls playing their roles show up here.
