Sacred Knowledge Using the abundance around us provided by Mother Earth to improve health and support us. Hi there! My name is Jenny and I am the founder of Sacred Knowledge.

I have a 13 year critical care nursing background and have since transitioned into helping those in need with herbs, essential oils, botanicals and whole health consulting. I offer tea blends, ointments, salves, bath salts, diffuser blends and essential oil rollers to soothe symptoms. I also provide whole health consulting, which includes health education, patient and family advocacy, health assessments, care plan guidance, family support services, and end of life care. My role is to empower you to make the best wellness decisions for you and your loved ones while connecting you with great resources that can make it happen. At any stage of life, I aim to build a bigger community to support all that this journey has to offer each of us. We need each other. We are better together.

Excess mucus can feel heavy and uncomfortable, especially during colds, sinus congestion, or seasonal changes. In many traditional wellness systems, certain foods and herbs are considered pungent or astringent, which may help thin, dry, or support the body in moving mucus more effectively.

• Onions
• Garlic
• Ginger
• Black pepper
• Radish
• Daikon radish
• Turnip
• Mustard seeds
• Cloves or clove water
• Thyme
• Basil
• Tulsi (Holy Basil)

• Lemon zest
• Orange or mandarin peel
• Apple cider vinegar
• Pineapple (contains bromelain, which may support mucus breakdown)

Additional Helpful Practices:

Salt can also help with mucus to a certain extent. Gargling or nasal irrigation with warm water and non-iodized, preservative-free, all-natural salt may help soothe the throat and support sinus clearing. For these practices, use distilled, sterile, or previously boiled and cooled water. Do not use plain tap water.
