Wonderful days in Hawaii in 1975.
I was in my twenties and I worked for and studied under Dr Paul Bragg (founder of Bragg dot com and Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar, and also first health food stores in USA)....
I learned from Dr. Paul Bragg, world-famous Naturopath, on the beach in Hawaii, to take time for self-care.

I led exercise classes on the beach with him and taught yoga and meditation.

Sunrider NuPlus Muffin Recipe (by Katie Chen, Nutritionist, wife of Dr. Reuben Chen, Sunrider International) This recipe was posted by Katie in 2021. I made this recipe then. I'm happy I found it again, because I want to make these delicious and healthy muffins again soon!!

I've made nuplus muffins before, but I love this recipe because it tastes great but no butter or oil. And instead of sugar, I use fruit and Sunrider SunnyDew, a stevia-based product with zero calories. I also use NuPlus, which is packed with nutrients.
This recipe is also so delicious and it uses a blender or food processor, which really cuts down on the clean-up time. It takes a little longer than other recipes because of grinding up dates and apple, but with no sugar, that little bit of time is worth it!
To make about 16 muffins, you’ll need:
3 packets of NuPlus® Apple Cinnamon
1 cups oats
¾ cup whole wheat flour (or Almond Flour)
¾ cup dried dates
SunnyDew® (2–3 squeezes)
1/2 cup very hot water
2 apples peeled and cored
3/4 cup milk or soy/almond milk
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
Note: I have made these with 2 variations, both all oatmeal (no flour) and with oatmeal and flour. The texture is better with flour, but you can also omit the flour and add 2 cups of oatmeal instead of 1 to make this wheat free.
Place dates into blender and pour hot water over them. Blend slightly to chop dates and then allow to sit for 5 minutes to soften and then blend until smooth.
Add apples, milk, and oatmeal and puree until smooth. You may need to scrape the sides of the blender to make sure all the oats are well ground.
Add the nuplus,flour, sunny dew and all other remaining ingredients and mix until blended.
Line muffin tin with muffin papers and fill 2/3 full with batter, approximately 1/4 cup per muffin.
Sprinkle each muffin with a little oatmeal if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30–35 minutes; a toothpick inserted in the center of the muffin should come out clean.
