☀️ Fall is a time when we are getting all farm and program tasks in order for winter arriving! Skidsteer is going, round bales are getting moved, paddocks are cleaned, waterers ready: our farm-based equine and animal assisted program requires daily work and additional seasonal work. ❄️ Magical Winter Sessions at the Counselling Cabin will be happening again soon when snow in the Shuswap arrives! Lights go on, snow gets plowed, paths are created for horses and people, the cabin is cozy and the fresh mountain air is crisp ❄️

☀️ Paddington the Golden Pony on the counselling cabin porch! The therapy herd regularly stands on the porch, Sierra will open the lever-door handle to say Hi!, and the horses often don’t want anyone to leave ☺️ Each equine-assisted therapy horse has been selected as a therapy animal who is calm, safe, kind and loves attention and connection 💕
