Low-cost virtual therapy starting this January for residents of BC and Washington State. Limited spots available.

Two carefully selected counseling interns will be offering virtual therapy for $45 per session as part of their supervised clinical training. Each brings significant life experience, depth, and a grounded, compassionate presence to their work.

A free 15-minute consultation is available to ensure a good fit.

Bahareh works primarily with individuals and couples navigating intimacy challenges, relational patterns, self-criticism, shame, body image concerns, sexuality, and chronic pain. With over 20 years of experience as a professional theatre actor, she brings a strong embodiment and mind-body focus to her work. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and emotionally attuned, creating space for vulnerability, self-exploration, and repair.

Garret supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, spiritual concerns, life transitions, and questions of meaning and purpose. His integrative approach draws from trauma-informed, somatic, systems-based, and nature-based practices. He has trained with Dr. Gabor Maté in Compassionate Inquiry and brings extensive experience in deep nature connection work and conscious communication facilitation.

I will be providing weekly clinical supervision to support their work, ensuring ethical and thoughtful care while maintaining accessibility for those who may be finding regular therapy rates to be a barrier.

The practice of Jungian analysis is the slow and collaborative construction of an inner room where psyche can explore and be explored. The room takes shape as we move through the shifting landscape of feelings and images. Sometimes we are wandering in a dense forest without a trail; other times we follow the snaking path of a child dragging a stick. Together we listen for the threads that want to be woven into meaning. The analytical relationship becomes the “closed house” of the alchemical vessel, offering the potential for both healing and transformation. Every process is different; each room is unique. Jung says it is our own hurt that gives us the measure of our ability to heal, the analyst can only guide another as far as they have traveled themselves. With a lifetime of wounds and inner exploration, I marvel at how my edges keep expanding and deepening with each psyche that sits across from me in this shared space.

An analyst in Zurich once told me if we want to meet another’s soul we need to be as still as if we wanted a deer to approach us in the forest. Being embraced by the stillness of this island has deepened my capacity to witness, accompany, and guide others through the landscapes of their inner worlds. The quiet has allowed me to settle more naturally into the architecture of my own inner spaces, places I once navigated and explored with great urgency. The island holds me as I hold my clients. The view from my home therapy room is a reminder that the inner world, like the outer, fluctuates with the light, tide, weather and season. Small changes can dramatically alter our experience.

Finally posting a glimpse of my new Salt Spring Island home studio. Perched on a bluff overlooking trees, sea, and islands, this Sky Valley property is a quiet retreat, and the perfect container for the type of depth work I practice. Those of you who have known me for a while know that I've been a mover, but this place feels like one I'll settle in and put down roots.

Consider taking a trip to this beautiful island for an in person session.

I'm Leanne. I am passionate about the transformative potential of the analytical relationship. Starting my training as a hospice social worker, I transitioned to psychotherapy and eventually trained to be a Jungian Analyst at the CG Jung Institute in Zurich. I find it a great privilege and honor to be a witness and companion to others in times of transition, initiation, confusion, and turmoil.

Originally from the US, I've lived in Canada since 2020. I work in person with clients on Salt Spring Island, BC, as well as online with people from around the world. I see my analytical clients weekly and this part of my practice is usually full. To accommodate other priorities and budgets, I also offer self-scheduled, self-paced sessions for those who would like to experience working with a Jungian Analyst at their own pace. Please visit my website (link in bio) for more information and to schedule a session or get on my waiting list.

We all have the capacity to live a satisfying, meaningful life and to understand ourselves deeply. Instead of following a structured program of therapeutic technique, our work together will be as unique as you are.

New offering! I have heard from many people who are curious about Jungian work but are not in a place to commit to weekly analysis. I've decided to open up my books (and my mind), and offer some single-serving sessions.

These self-scheduled sessions are an opportunity for you to work with a Jungian Analyst at your own pace and comfort. Schedule a single session, or do ongoing work on your own timeline. Come in person to my studio on Salt Spring, whether you are a local resident or a visitor, or book an online session from anywhere in the world. Bring something you would like to discuss and we will explore the issue together, using concepts from Jungian psychology and allowing psyche to guide us where it may.

Although the experience can be deep and insightful, these sessions are not a substitute for the container of regular Jungian Analysis, and should not be seen as such. Nor should this be considered "coaching." As a Jungian Analyst, I work therapeutically, with a trained clinical eye. I am in the practice of guiding descent, uncovering, circumambulating, and unraveling. I will bring these skills with me to our session, as well as my ability to help you weave loose strands into something new. You may leave the session with more questions than you came in with, but I trust you will leave with your psyche stirred and the inner fires stoked.
