Massage therapy is an evidence informed treatment applying best practices: Current evidence, clinical experience and patient input. It is an effective treatment for the symptoms of stress such as headache and lowered immune function. Immediate relief can be found while addressing the underlying cause. Massage therapy is also an effective treatment for pain and soft tissue injury, including sports injury and surgical rehabilitation. Massage Therapy is especially efficacious in the treatment of chronic pain. Talk to your doctor about a referral for massage therapy.
