I’m back from my winter retreat ❄️❄️❄️ I just spent two glorious weeks with Avalon and Davo in MTL at this most ridiculous time of year 🥶 Turns out it was the very thing I needed. Pyjama and puzzle days, with chocolat chaud and family visits between feasting and movie watching and the occasional museum outing in a beautiful winter wonderland 🌨️❄️🪾⛄️🧣It’s a prelude to exciting times ahead for me in 2026, as I embark on a 6 month advanced acupuncture mentorship with . This is a huge commitment to skill development, as well as a reorientation to self cultivation as a practitioner - hello meditation, it’s been a while! I’m so eager to deepen my devotion to the fullness of this medicine ☯️ 🧘‍♀️ 🌿 When you let in something new, it often requires letting something go. So, I’ll be deleting this app to get the most out of this mentorship and to do it well. Whenever I put together some homeopathic remedies, I get a little reminder from the past with this photo that’s tucked with my medicating potencies. It’s my graduation ceremony from the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy in 2004, 26 years ago! It was the most illuminating 4 years with the smallest group in the school’s history. This made it feel extra heartfelt, authentic and supportive. These women watched me get pregnant and then bring my baby to class. Avalon had so many aunties. 💕I also remember lots of chocolate, culminating with a chocolate fountain at the ceremony. Some of use are still in the trenches, holding space and prescribing this precious form of medicine. school
