**Growing Through Learning: Honored to Earn an Award for Continuing Education (ACE)!**

I’m excited to announce that I’ve earned my second ACE award, a reflection of my dedication to staying up-to-date in the field of speech-language pathology. I’ve always loved learning and can’t wait to use the new knowledge I’ve gained to better serve both children and adults.

**Now Offering Services for Adults!**

In addition to pediatric therapy, I am now offering speech services for adults, including post-stroke rehabilitation, support for conditions like dysarthria and apraxia, as well as accent modification coaching. With communication being such an essential part of daily life, I’m thrilled to expand my services and help individuals regain their voice and confidence!

Did you know:

When children are learning new speech sounds, they may only produce them correctly some of the time. We refer to these sounds as *emerging*, meaning they are still working toward mastery. If you notice your child is having difficulty with one or more speech sounds, it can affect their ability to communicate clearly. It may also impact their academic performance, particularly in reading and writing.

If you have concerns about your child’s speech sounds or would like to discuss how speech therapy can support their development, feel free to contact me. I’m happy to help!

While the kiddos are busy deciding between chocolate or vanilla, encourage them to describe their delicious choices. “My ice cream is as colorful as a rainbow!” 🌈 Talking about their favorite flavors is a sweet way to practice their speech skills. "How much of my child's speech should I understand?"

A question I get often! It's important to remember that all listeners (familiar-like mom and dad, and less familiar-like a librarian or a bus driver), should be able to understand your child's speech approximately 95% of the time by the age of 4.
