Life sure has a way of throwing curveballs and keeping us on our toes, and we all are in different seasons. Sometimes we just need a little help and support!

I am so excited for another trip around the sun. We have lots of good stuff to look forward to and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.

Do you always feel like you’re starting fresh or finding a new program or activity to do? Because, SAME HERE. I thought about posting some of my workout and saying “week two underway!” But I didn’t because I feared judgement from myself and others.

But here I am. I took a step back and reflected on why I hadn’t stuck to the garage workouts last time I started. Why I stopped going to yoga. Why I haven’t done a spin class on my expensive spin bike in ages.
I don’t know if there’s one specific reason that stands out. The weather definitely plays a key role, but I’m about to get out my journal and work through a few things.

Make a plan. Acknowledge my roadblocks. Go from there.

Life. Am I right?!

Summer Time ☀️🏕
Had such an amazing road trip!
Lots of driving, Maybel loved the truck and slept great in the tent with us. ⛰
Had a great visit with my family out at the Shuswap for a few nights. 🏕Then we packed up and got back in the truck and headed to Alberta to visit Chris’ sister and her family 🤍
We also got a little visit with my step brother and his family all the way from South Korea!

Our little fam jam out for a walk by the river yesterday 🤍
We love it when Chris has the day off work so we can go on adventures or veg out at home with the AC when it’s too hot for our little fluff ball.
She is just shy of 4 months old and weighed in at 34.7lbs this week!

Ps. We still can’t believe we live in Saskatoon, bought our house and have a dog! What a year it has been 🤍

*you can practice gratitude AND still have goals and want more. The two things must coexist. When you are grateful for what you have, the Universe will match your energy and give you more things to be grateful for.

There is a reason for every season of your life.
✨
I have been an Entrepreneur since 2017 and it has had a lot of highs but also some lows. Since selling the Sweat Box location and moving to Saskatoon, I’m not going to lie, it’s been an uphill battle.
Knowing this place here is just a stop along the way makes it even more challenging. This is why
I am working hard at moving my business online so that when it comes time to relocate, it will be a smooth transition. That being said, I am a Generator by human design and I THRIVE on in-person interaction. I knew I needed to get out and be around people.

I struggled with going back into the serving industry as it felt like it meant my reiki business wasn’t succeeding, or I was giving up [insert all self-doubt here] BUT, I know I didn’t fail. I have helped and still support my clients and continue to build my Soul Up Club.
I decided to let go and release all the expectations I had and just go with the flow.
I am now maintaining Blackbird Reiki and the Soul Up Club while I work evenings at the restaurant and am LOVING it. This flow and season has opened us up to be able to get a puppy, and welcome this new little love into our lives.
✨
This is your reminder that sometimes something might initially feel like a step backwards, but really it is a giant leap forward.

Did you know that Reiki can be done for your pets?! It can be helpful for them if they are anxious, stressed or just need some extra love.
Animals (like children) are extremely sensitive to energy! They know when you need a cuddle and some grounding.
