👓 Myopia Awareness! 👓

Myopia, also known as near-sightedness, is a common eye condition that causes distant objects to appear blurred, while close objects can be seen clearly. Unfortunately, myopia tends to get worse as we grow, and the younger it starts the worse it may get overall.

The good news is that the progression of myopia can now be reduced significantly if it’s caught and managed early. Acting early may dramatically reduce the severity of near-sightedness in children and young adults, increase the range of vision-correction options available (like thinner lenses and laser vision correction), and reduce the risk of serious eye problems later in life! 👁️

Here at Vista, we take pride in offering the best service for our patients. We stay up to date on the latest research and continue to upgrade our technology. MYAH is a piece of equipment that allows us to monitor the length of your child's eye as they grow to better monitor their myopia progression.
