Our Curling Bonspiel has wrapped up! 🥌

Yesterday we held the Bronze Medal Final, where Hack Attack defeated Broom Goes the Dynamite. Congrats Sharon & David (3rd Place!)

This morning’s Championship Final was a nail-biter! Hammer Time (Anna & Shirley) came out on top, defeating The Ice Breakers (Graham & Fernande) with a close score of 9–8.

We celebrated this afternoon with cupcakes and presented trophies and medals to all of our winners and participants.

Congratulations to everyone who played and helped make it such a fun event. Another successful Curling Bonspiel at CDSCH! 🎉

The ice was HOT yesterday at our Curling Bonspiel! 🥌

The Ice Breakers slid their way to victory over Hack Attack, while Hammer Time swept past Broom Goes the Dynamite in a showdown worthy of the highlight reel!

Up next this morning, The Golden Curls take on The House Invaders — and this afternoon we battle it out for Bronze as Hack Attack faces Broom Goes the Dynamite in a rematch you won’t want to miss!

Excited for a fun filled March!
We kicked off our annual curling bonspiel yesterday. In the morning the Ice Breakers defeated the Golden Curls and will advance to play this morning against Hack Attack. Hammer Time won against the House Invaders yesterday afternoon and will take on Broom Goes the Dynamite this afternoon. Stay tuned for more bonspiel updates and good luck to all!

As Valentine’s Day approaches, we’re inviting our community to help us spread a little extra joy to our residents 💕

We are gratefully accepting donations of:
🍫 Snack-size chocolate bars (Oh Henrys are a favourite!)
🍬 Valentine’s chocolates
🍿 Popcorn twists
🥔 Snack-size chips
🧀 Hawkins Cheezies
🌹 Roses or flowers

Cash donations are also welcome and will go toward a new patio set for residents to enjoy in the warmer months ☀️
