December is a busy month but it's filled with so much joy and fun! At least that's what the recreation department is going for with lots of Christmas activities and events along with our regular programs.

REMINDER: PICK UP FOR OUR WINTER PLANT FUNDRAISER IS TODAY AND TOMORROW (Dec 3 & 4). Please let the office know you are here ad recreation will assist you. Thank you for your supporting the Resident Council's Fundraiser!

Annual bus trips to the Festival of Trees. We had a full bus every day! What a wonderful way to start the holiday season. A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers for helping out this week!

We’re excited to share that Circle Drive Special Care Home will once again be holding a Holiday Fundraiser through Growing Smiles Fundraising! Back by popular demand, this year’s sale features beautiful poinsettias, wreaths, boughs, indoor tropical planters, and outdoor greenery arrangements — perfect for bringing festive cheer to your home or gifting to loved ones.
All proceeds will support the Circle Drive Special Care Home Resident Council.

To place your order, please visit circledrive.growingsmilesfundraising.com to purchase online, or complete the attached order form and return it to the Home.

Payment options:
-->Cash or cheques (payable to Circle Drive Special Care Home) are accepted with paper orders.
-->Credit card payments are accepted online only through the website above.
-->E-transfers cannot be accepted at this time

Order deadline: Tuesday, November 18 at 11:00 PM
Pick-up dates: Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Home. Please contact the Recreation Department if an alternate pick up date is required

We encourage you to share this fundraiser with family and friends — every order helps make a difference! We have set a goal to sell 75 plants.

Last week were had a farewell party for Rayah, our recreation summer student. Rayah was a joy to have apart of the team and made meaningful connections with many of our residents. She is heading into her second year of pharmacy at the U of S and we wish her the best! Thank you Rayah!

Good morning! I realized while I was on holidays last week, that I had told you all we would keep you posted on the final total of the fundraiser. Oops I forgot. 😅 Our grand total this year for the bake sale and the raffle baskets was...$2,538! Pretty close to the total we had last year. Thank you again to everyone who supported this fundraiser and thank you for your patience with forgetful me. ☺️

What a fun July we've had! Patio sing alongs, birthdays, bus trips to the Zoo and Sask. Aviation Museum, our annual summer carnival, crafting and exercising with a parachute!

Summer is always a great time for bus trips! River Landing walk (with a stop at the Sugar Shack for ice cream) and our second trip out to Twin Peaks Creamery. Next trip: The Forestry Farm & Zoo!
