As Social Work Month draws to an end, we reflect on this year’s theme: “Reflecting on our past, reimagining the future.”

The profession has grown over the past century — becoming more trauma-informed, more inclusive, and more aware of systemic barriers. At the same time, we acknowledge the past and the ongoing work needed to create more and more equitable access to care.

Reimagining the future means listening, learning, and committing to compassionate, accountable practice.
