Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my family to yours 🤍

As we wrap up 2025, I just want to say thank you—for trusting me with your growing families, your questions, your worries, and your wins. Supporting parents through pregnancy, newborn life, feeding, sleep, and all the in-between moments has been such a privilege this year.

I will be available in a limited capacity over the holidays, and I look forward to supporting so many families as we head into 2026.

2025 was a year of growth, learning, and connection—and I’m so grateful to be part of your village. I can’t wait to see what the new year brings 💫

If your normally great sleeper suddenly can’t fall asleep, wakes all night, or is having big emotional meltdowns during the holidays — you’re not doing anything wrong.

Young nervous systems are still developing, and the holidays bring more stimulation, later nights, missed naps, sugar, excitement, and emotional overload. All of that raises stress hormones, which makes sleep harder — not easier.

This isn’t misbehavior. It’s biology.

The good news? With the right support, routines can be gently rebuilt and sleep can stabilize again — even after the holidays.

You are exactly who your little one needs.

Mama, there are days when you wonder if you’re doing enough or doing it right. You might feel overwhelmed or uncertain, but take a deep breath: in your little one’s eyes, you are everything. You are exactly who your little one needs, just by being you.

Remember, you don’t have to be perfect to be the perfect mom for them. No one else can love and comfort your child the way you do. They feel safest when you’re near. Your presence and love are what matter most—far more than any spotless home or expert parenting book.

As a postpartum nurse, I’ve seen how much pressure new parents put on themselves. The very fact that you care so deeply shows what a wonderful job you’re doing. If you ever need support—whether it’s help with sleep, navigating postpartum transitions, or just a listening ear—I’m here for you. You’re not alone on this journey.

Hi there, I am Janelle and I am the owner of The Mama Coach- Saskatoon and West Central Saskatchewan. I am a Registered Nurse with over 12 years of experience in Health Care. I am a Mom to 4 beautiful children, who have made me realize just how special and DIFFICULT motherhood can be! I am so excited to bring The Mama Coach to Rural Saskatchewan and start helping parents navigate the hiccups and hurdles that can come with parenthood. I can provide private or small group prenatal classes, newborn support, lactation counselling & support, sleep coaching, allergy navigation and CPR & choking workshops or certifications. The Mama Coach is all about helping to make motherhood easier. I use Science, Empathy & Support to help you and your family over come any challenges and reach your goals. This is a NO JUDGEMENT ZONE! Everyone has different parenting styles and I am here to help you enjoy your little ones as much as possible.
