Our first Hub Club of 2026 was very interesting. We found out lots of ways to look after ourselves in winter - keeping our skin healthy and staying active! It was nice to see some of our regular attendees out!

A huge thank you to the Harding/Bergeron family for their generous donation toward our Adjust-a-Sink project at St. Angela Merici Residence. 💛

Because of supporters like you, we are now at $9,050 — that’s 90% of our $10,000 goal! 🙌

This sink will make hair washing safer, more comfortable, and much more accessible for our residents — especially those who use wheelchairs or need extra support.

We’re so close to the finish line… just $950 to go!

St. Angela Merici Residence is looking for entertainers for our monthly birthday parties and special events (live music, singers, dancers, comedy, cultural performances — we love it all!).

✨ Good news! ✨

St. Angela Merici Residence has just been awarded $2,500 from Healthcare Excellence Canada’s Everyday Safety Acts Award for the work our staff and residents do every day to keep people safe and cared for right here at home. 💜

We’re putting the full amount toward our Adjust-a-Sink for the salon so hair washing is safer and more comfortable for residents who use wheelchairs or have mobility challenges.

With this award, we’ve now raised $7,050 of our $10,000 goal – 70.5% of the way there! 🙌

If you’d like to help us cross the finish line, donations toward the Adjust-a-Sink project are warmly welcomed. Every little bit brings us closer to a safer, more accessible salon for our residents. 💜✂️🛁

And that’s a wrap on 2025!! We had a wonderful gala afternoon and enjoyed seeing our residents enjoying themselves with their families! We wish you all the very best in the New Year from all of us at St. Angela Merici Residence. May the year ahead be blessed with good health, happiness and peace!

Santa couldn’t wait until tomorrow… 🎅❤️

He stopped by early today because our residents have been so good all year — and he wanted to bring a little extra joy before Christmas. Lots of smiles, a few happy tears, and plenty of holiday magic around here today. ✨🎄

💜 Adjust-a-Sink Campaign Update 💜

Thanks to the kindness of our community, we’ve now raised $4,550 toward our $10,000 Adjust-a-Sink!

That means we’re almost halfway there to funding the height-adjustable salon sink we need to finally move ahead with our accessible salon project for residents who use wheelchairs.

This sink is the “main ingredient” that will make hair washing safer and more comfortable for residents, and easier on our staff.
