Thanks to the SaskEnergy Share the Warmth Grant, we proudly delivered our 3rd Annual Warm Winter Project; and the impact was heartwarming! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงค

With this generous funding we supported:
8 parents and 4 expecting parents, 10 babies and toddlers... plus 2 little ones on the way!

We partnered once again with the Jacoby Centre and Millieโ€™s Early Learning Centre at Nutana Collegiate to help ensure children and youth in need have access to essential food and hygiene supplies.

Care packages were thoughtfully prepared based on the expressed needs of recipients. Each included personal care essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, and feminine hygiene products. Childrenโ€™s packages also contained special touches like colouring books, crayons, baby blankets, and snacks; bringing a little extra warmth and joy.

SaskAbilities staff and clients proudly volunteered to plan, assemble, and deliver the packages.

Together, weโ€™re sharing warmth in more ways than one! ๐Ÿ’š

As we wrap up our Kindness Week activities, Cody and Brittany remind us of something important: kindness isnโ€™t something you schedule... itโ€™s something you choose, every single day.

At SaskAbilities, that commitment to kindness is at the heart of everything we do; in our programs, our workplaces, and our communities.

Thank you Saskatoon Community Foundation and Leadership Saskatoon for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful week. Weโ€™re proud to stand alongside you โ€” and weโ€™re committed to carrying that spirit of kindness forward all year long. ๐Ÿ’™
