We do not grow up having good vision, vision is a learned skill!
How easy is it for you to read this? It's pretty difficult! If someone has reading challenges, this is how their eyes could be moving when trying to read.

With winter in full swing and icy conditions making walking and driving more hazardous, slips and falls or car accidents are more likely to happen and can result in concussions. Well-known concussion symptoms include headaches, nausea, and confusion, but did you know that they can also cause visual symptoms such as:
- blurred or double vision
- eye strain
- light or motion sensitivity
- trouble with depth perception
- trouble tracking moving objects
- difficulty focusing

Q: Is the functional vision exam or vision therapy covered by NIHB?

A: Unfortunately, NIHB considers our services to be excludes services, therefore vision therapy as well as the functional vision exams are not covered through NIHB.

However, your child may be eligible for other funding programs such as Jordan's Principle.

Please contact us to inquire about your options! We would be happy to provide you with any required information to apply for Jordan's Principle or other funding sources.
