CMC’s 2nd annual Papapalooza went so well today! Thank-you to Dr. Knibbs for organizing and to all of the staff, docs, residents and medical students who volunteered their time today to help over 150 people be successfully screened for cervical cancer!! We are so proud to be part of such an amazing community and are thankful to all of the women who were brave enough to show up and participate! 💕🌸

SECOND ANNUAL PAPAPALOOZA!!!

Hello! My name is Jennifer Knibbs and I am a family doctor in Saskatoon. I work at Cornerstone Medical Clinic which is a full-service family medicine practice as well as a referral center for women’s health, low-risk maternity care and neonatal care for Saskatoon and surrounding area.

I am excited to share with you our second annual event "Papapalooza”! Papapalooza will provide pap tests to all eligible individuals in Saskatoon and surrounding communities until capacity is reached! So, book soon!

The event will take place on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at Cornerstone Medical Clinic from 9am-3pm.

We recognize the shortage of family physicians has led to increased difficulty for people to access care to receive their recommended cervical cancer screening. Our goal is to provide easy access for people who need a pap smear to receive their screening without difficulty.

We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact on women's health outcomes and contribute to a healthier, more empowered community.

It’s that time of year once again — flu shots!! Cornerstone Medical Clinic is once again offering influenza vaccine clinics this fall. The clinics will run from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm Tuesday October 25 and Tuesday November 1. Get your flu shot from an experienced CMC physician! All ages from ages 6 months up are welcome!

We are already seeing some influenza cases trickle into our city. Call CMC at 306-975-1262 to book you and your family in for flu shots while appointments last!

Fire/Flood update:
CMC is up and running at partial capacity, and we expect to be at nearly full speed by Monday. This is due in part to the tireless effort of our docs and staff, and also because of the help of friends.

This disaster has highlighted to us the generous spirit of the medical community in and around Saskatoon. There are so many family doctors and specialists that have been willing to step up and help us by offering time, space, or use of equipment. In particular, we would like to take the time to thank City Centre Family Physicians, Herold Road Family Physicians, Lakeside Medical Clinic, Premiere Plastic Surgery, Martensville Collective Health and Wellness, Broadway Family Physicians, and YXE Women’s Health. Your support means a lot to us and we are lucky to count you as friends!

We would also like to thank you, our patients, for your continued understanding as we navigate this problem and repair the damages. Onwards and upwards!

Unfortunately, due to a fire on the second floor of our building and the subsequent flood in our office caused by the sprinkler system, our office will be closed until further notice.
We are working tirelessly to contact all of our patients and make appropriate arrangements.

It’s time! Cornerstone Medical Clinic will be offering flu shots during 2 separate flu shot clinics: Tuesday November 2nd evening, and all day Saturday November 6th. Our highly trained and fully-vaccinated crew will be able to provide you with your flu shots by appointment. And the best part: they will be administered safely with infection precautions in mind.
