Today is an important day - Admin Professionals Day!

Angelique and Sophia are
- the friendly comforting voice on the phone
- the first face you see when you walk in
- the "tour guides" that help keep your plan in place
- the supporter of everything that is in the clinic!

We come together as a team when one of them is unable to be in clinic, but no one truly runs the place better than them!

Help us celebrate Angelique and Sophia today!

Let's check out an to start the week!

The Pelvic Tilt is a Simple Way to Strengthen Your Core and Support Your Lower Back
The pelvic tilt is a gentle but highly effective exercise that focuses on rolling the pelvis backward, helping activate the deep abdominal muscles while reducing excessive stress on the lumbar spine.

Benefits of Pelvic Tilt
1. Improves Core Activation
Pelvic tilts activate the deep abdominal muscles, including the transverse Abdominis, which provide support and stability to the spine.

2. Reduces Lower Back Strain
By gently flattening the lower back against the floor, pelvic tilts decrease pressure on the lumbar spine and can help relieve mild back discomfort.

3. Enhances Pelvic Control
Many people have difficulty controlling pelvic movement. This exercise helps improve awareness and control of pelvic positioning during daily activities.

4. Improves Posture
Regular practice helps reduce excessive arching of the lower back and promotes better alignment while sitting, standing, and walking.

5. Foundation for Core Exercises
Pelvic tilts are often the first step before progressing to exercises such as bridges, planks, and abdominal strengthening.

How to Perform Pelvic Tilt
🔥 Lie on your back on a mat with knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
🔥 Relax your arms by your sides and keep your shoulders comfortable.
🔥Gently tighten your abdominal muscles.
🔥Slowly roll your pelvis backward, flattening your lower back toward the floor.
🔥Your tailbone will slightly lift and your lower back will press into the mat.
🔥Hold this position for 3–5 seconds.
🔥Slowly relax and return to the starting position.

Repeat: 10–12 repetitions for 2–3 sets.

When to Do This Exercise
Pelvic tilts can be done:
• In the morning to gently mobilize the spine
• Before exercise to activate the core muscles
• After long periods of sitting
• As part of a rehabilitation program for lower back pain
• During a daily core strengthening routine
