PPC Therapy Group

PPC Therapy Group Serving YXE for over 40 years, our diverse team of mental health professional’s strives to help you feel your best! Our services help you with your choices.

At PPC we don’t believe being in crisis is a prerequisite to using our services. In fact, earlier intervention usually ensures a quicker solution. We do this by helping you to clarify the problem and we work with you to create solutions that work for you. Remember, early intervention can mean the difference between solving a problem and going through a long period of struggle with a difficult situation. If a problem bothers you, it is real. That’s when you should call PPC for personal, professional and confidential assistance.

Meet Angie Wiebe, one of our lovely Registered Psychologists, who has been a valued member of our team since 2021. Angie believes you are the expert of your own life, carrying with you the experiences, memories, and beliefs that have shaped you. She believes counselling offers the space to sort through what you’ve been carrying, uncovering what still serves you, and consider what you may be ready to set down. Although Angie isn’t taking new clients right now we wanted to give her a shout out for all her incredible work 🤍

💛 A quick heads-up for our community 💛

Raising rates is never an easy decision. Effective February 1, 2026, many of our therapists will be increasing their rates to help keep up with rising costs and reflect the experience and care our team brings to their work.

We’re also happy to share that Andrea and Keiran are currently offering reduced-cost sessions. If you have questions or want to explore your options, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re always here to help 💛

A heads-up for Danielle’s clients: she will be away from the office from January 22 to February 10. If you need support while she’s away, reach out — we’re happy to help 💛

The third Monday of January has been nicknamed Blue Monday. While we know one day isn’t actually sadder than the rest, winter can still feel heavy. As we enter what feels like the 56th day of January, it’s no surprise many of us are feeling drained, unmotivated, or a bit “off” 💙

A few gentle ways to cope with the winter blues:
• Get outside when you can — even a short walk helps
• Stick to small routines (no need for a full reset)
• Stay connected, even if it’s just a text or coffee date
• Be kind to yourself — winter is hard, and you’re doing your best

And if things feel heavier than usual, support is always available 💛

💙

PPC is currently without WiFi, which means our debit machine is also down. Over the next few days until the WiFi is fixed, we would appreciate session payments via client's Jane accounts or etransfer.

To add to this, the power in our neighbourhood is also currently off. We expect this issue to rectify itself much sooner than our WiFi issue though.

We love this quote and reflection from Dr. Frank Anderson 💛
Healing isn’t about never getting activated—it’s about changing how we meet those moments when they show up.

Our team is here to help you better understand your triggers and build responses that feel healthier and more aligned with who you are 🧠✨

“The goal of healing isn’t to eliminate activation. It’s to change what happens when activation appears. That kind of change doesn’t come from insight alone. It comes from helping the whole system learn something new, not just understand it.

Over time, that looks like noticing yourself getting flooded without immediately lashing out.

Staying in the conversation instead of disappearing from it.

Feeling intensity without your nervous system taking over.

Instead of asking, Why am I still getting activated? a more useful question becomes, What’s different about how I meet this activation now?”
