Here are a couple of my quick favourites:
♥️ take 5 deep belly breaths
♥️ give myself a belly rub (always starting on the right heading left)
♥️ sip ginger or peppermint tea
♥️ gentle pelvic movements (circles, yoga cat-cow)

Yup, I can tell! Consider this your reminder that even soft foods need to be chewed. Undigested food = gas/bloating and less nutrient absorption. We should chew each bit of food 5-40 times depending on the firmness. Aim for each mouthful to be mushy with no chunks before swallowing for maximum digestion and nutrition benefit.

Don’t throw out the kraut juice! It’s got just as many wonderful benefits as the sauerkraut itself. We fight over the juice, taking turns until it’s gone! The dill pickle from is our favourite when I don’t have any homemade. Make sure to support gut health and digestion over the holidays.
