Our Story
After a near-fatal experience involving his young daughter, Chris recognized that not everyone needed advanced training to provide the most basic and life-saving care in an emergency. Chris reached out to the Saskatoon community in 2001 and started SharaLife First Aid.
Growing SharaLife
As a sole proprietor, Chris became an Authorized Training Partner with the Canadian Red Cross and started teaching small courses to friends and family. Quickly, the need for quality and reality based first aid training was becoming overwhelming for one person. Chris expanded his services and training to include “Instructor” programs and met many amazing people who he welcomed under the umbrella of SharaLife First Aid as instructors.
As the need and volume of business increased, Chris eventually left his career as an EMT and employee with Sask Highways. Course offerings expanded into the safety market to include WHMIS and TDG. Always willing to evolve, SharaLife has also expanded into areas such as Equipment Sales, First Aid Supplies, and advanced training for First Responders and EMR’s.
