How do I choose a hairline?

If you are unsure of what style or type of hairline will work for you, we will be there to help. With artistic experience on how to fit a hairline to head shape and age, we can help recommend what’s best. Over the course of your sessions you can also tweak and adjust the hairline for a perfect result.

Oh boy, it’s Monday. Let’s do this! FAQ go:

Do I need to take time off work?
Scalp micropigmentation is non-invasive and requires no down time. In most cases, you will not need to take any extended time away from work, school, or other functions. After treatment it is common to notice slight redness on the scalp for 2-3 days post session. This redness subsides quickly and most clients return to work either right away or within a couple days. Clients are also allowed to wear hats or headwear should they feel the need.

Is scalp micropigmentation detectable?

Scalp micropigmentation has become such an effective hair loss solution because of its consistently natural and undetectable results. Every single person is different, that why we strive to match the natural colour and depth that you would see on a full head of freshly shaven hair. We build depth through multiple sessions, the more sessions, the more depth.

How long do the results last?
After completion of your treatment (2-4 sessions) a client should expect the strength of the color to last for many years. Over a longer term, a client will very gradually begin to notice slight lightening (not discolor) of the treatment. When this occurs they can undergo a brief “touch up” session to restore any fading and secure many more years of their style. We aim for the 5 year mark, as with anything it all depends on the individual. Sun exposure and darker hair will likely cause it to fade faster, but it is an easy touch up. Generally 5 years.

How long does scalp micropigmentation take?
The Scalp Micropigmentation treatment typically takes 2-4 hours per session depending on your degree of hair loss. Most clients can expect between 2-4 sessions to complete their treatment depending on the extent of hair loss or scarring. These treatments are usually spaced about 10-20 days apart.

Again, the more sessions, the more depth we can add. The more realistic it will look. We can match colour, and give you the best natural look possible. Contact me to find out more!

These treatments are usually spaced about 10-20 days apart. The goal here is to achieve a natural layered look. By going in 3 or 4 times, we build depth and a look of fullness.
