Yes we are back to seeing OHIP patients. Still at same underfunded fee but hoping that the government will stay true to its word (is that even possible for them?) and negotiate in good faith.
If the government fails to keep to its word and there is no progress by Jan 31/22 the “paused”OHIP job action will continue.
During this continued pandemic time and OHIP difficulties please be kind to each other. We know it has been frustrating and catch-up will take some time, but we are all trying.

This is from a Conservative MPP who worked as an optometrist. Finally someone in the present government sees the whole picture and concerns of the optometrists in dealing with this present government.
