🌿 Indigenous HIV Awareness Week 🌿

This week, we join communities across the country in honoring strength, resilience, and healing. At HARP, we’re committed to supporting Indigenous-led voices, grounding our work in respect, culture, and community care.

A special shout-out to OAHAS for their advocacy, and unwavering dedication to Indigenous peoples living with and affected by HIV. Your work continues to inspire and guide us. ❤️

Let’s keep lifting each other up, breaking stigma, and walking the path of wellness together.

🌍✨ Today, we recognize and honor World AIDS Day. 🌿

This day serves as a reminder of the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS, and the importance of solidarity, compassion, and awareness. We honor the lives lost and continue to support those living with HIV. Together, we can reduce stigma, increase education, and move closer to an AIDS-free future. 💪❤️

🔴 HIV Awareness Week (Nov 27 – Dec 3):
A global effort to educate on HIV prevention, reduce stigma, and promote support for those living with HIV. We stand united in the fight for a world without HIV. 💪💚

🌿 Indigenous HIV/AIDS Awareness Week (Dec 1-3):
Honoring the strength, resilience, and leadership of Indigenous peoples living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. This week uplifts community voices, promotes culturally grounded harm reduction, and calls for improved access to care for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. 🧡✨

Together, we work towards healing, equity, and a brighter future for all. 🙌

As we reflect on their stories, HARP stands in solidarity with the transgender community, pledging to continue the fight for justice, equality, and visibility.

We acknowledge the resilience and strength of those who have come before us and stand with those who continue to lead the way. Every life matters, and every voice deserves to be heard.

🕯️ May their memory inspire us to build a world where every trans person can live freely, safely, and authentically.
