The services that Brenna Lanktree and Associates, Inc. offer's are all within our scope of practice and education, training, and certification/registration has been achieved for every service that we offer. Not to brag, but we have a lot of posted certificate's on our website!

We want to ensure that we are providing services that are within our scope of practice and the public can be comfortable knowing that. Regardless of which provider you choose for your family, its important to always be diligent in checking their qualifications. An ethical provider will not only provide their qualifications, but only engage in services that they have specific education, training and certification/registration to do so.

Some of our summer programs are now available for booking! Spots do tend to fill quickly, but we do not require a deposit.

AIM explorers 1 & 2 are not the same program; however, they do not need to be taken sequentially.

ABA can be difficult to understand. I'm going to start posting information about ABA so people can make informed decisions on what is best route to take for their family. There are many wonderful professionals, such as SLP's and OT's, that are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment. I hope that adding a Registered Behaviour Analyst to the team will be something families will consider.

Why should you choose a Registered Behaviour Analyst over another professional who claims to be an expert in “behaviour”?

Lots of reason! RBA’s have spent their academic careers specializing in behaviour, which is complex and difficult to analyze without proper training and education. Even well-meaning professionals can inadvertently cause harm to clients by stepping out of their scope of practice, or even worse, actually believing it is within their scope. Protect yourself and your loved ones from potentially harmful behaviour coaching/consultation/interventions from perhaps well-meaning, but ill-equipped professionals that are not RBA’s or have direct RBA oversight.

Finding the right provider can be tough. There are so many variables that go into trusting someone with the love of your life (your kiddo). The first thing I suggest is to ensure that your provider is an approved OAP provider or has a registered professional that provides services within their scope of practice.

At BLA, both Kristen and I are on the approved list of OAP providers, meaning that we had to demonstrate that we have the credentials and ability to provide your loved ones with the quality therapy they deserve. You can find our names here:
