Each of our therapy spaces at The Grove is named after a tree 🍃

The Willow Room represents flexibility, softness, and emotional flow.

Like a willow that bends without breaking, this space was designed to feel comforting and responsive. The warm green couch curves like a protective branch, low lighting invites calm, and art materials offer expression without pressure.

Here, emotions don’t have to stand still: they can move, change shape, and find voice through colour and creativity.

Design purpose: Creativity as connection; expressive play for children, youth, and anyone who finds it hard to put feelings into words.

Today we’re wearing pink in support of Pink Shirt Day. 💗

At The Grove, we believe safety isn’t just the absence of harm, it’s the presence of belonging.

Exclusion and shame leave lasting marks. So does kindness. So does advocacy. So does choosing to speak up.

In our therapy rooms, we work every day to create spaces where people feel heard, respected, and safe to be fully themselves.

We’re proud to stand for compassion, inclusion, and community - today and every day.

Kindness is powerful. 💗🌿

Each of our therapy spaces at The Grove is named after a tree. 🌿

The Birch Room represents clarity, renewal, and honest reflection.

Birch trees grow in clusters, straight and bright, shedding their bark to reveal fresh layers beneath. This room was designed to reflect that same openness and simplicity.

Small in size but intentional in design, its pale tones and uncluttered space support focused conversation. No distraction: just room to peel back layers, notice what’s there, and grow something stronger.

Like a birch grove offering quiet companionship, this space encourages reflection without overwhelming the mind.

Design purpose: Adult and parent therapy, supporting emotional clarity, reflection, and straightforward conversation.

Each of our therapy spaces at The Grove is named after a tree. 🍁

The Maple Room represents depth, patience, and quiet transformation.

The maple changes with intention: slow sap, slow seasons, deep colour. This room was designed to carry that same grounded warmth.

Rich wood tones, sepia-shaded mirrors, and sturdy furnishings create an atmosphere where conversation can unfold at its own pace. The lighting is intentionally soft, reminding us that growth happens gradually, and insight comes with warmth, not force.

Like maple sap becoming syrup, the work here is concentrated, meaningful, and full of value.

Design purpose: Youth and adult therapy focused on identity, emotional depth, transitions, and long-term growth.

Happy Valentine’s Day from The Grove 💚

Valentine’s Day often centers romantic love.
At The Grove, we wanted to honour love in all its forms.

This year, we wrote one another letters: reflections of gratitude, admiration, and the kind of steady care that grows between colleagues, friends, and co-therapists.

We believe love shows up in many ways. In attunement, in collaboration, in encouragement, and in the quiet ways we hold space for one another.

Our practice is rooted in community, and that begins with how we show up for each other.

Love grows here. 🌿

Each of our therapy spaces at The Grove is named after a tree. 🌳

The Oak Room represents strength, steadiness, and openness.

The oak stands wide and welcoming: a climbing tree, a shade tree, a meeting place. This room was designed to reflect that same grounded confidence.

It’s divided into two balanced areas: a conversation nook with wood-style sound panels that feel steady and secure, and a playful area with a crash mat and sensory materials that invite movement and co-regulation

Like an oak that offers steady relationship, families are encouraged to explore, connect, and build felt safety through attunement.

Design purpose: Family and play therapy, supporting emotional regulation through connection, imagination, movement, and shared experiences.

Jordan, Kylie, and Allannah are currently accepting new clients for individual, couples, and youth therapy.

As we step into a new year, this can be a meaningful time to begin (or return to) the work of caring for yourself: at your own pace, in a supportive space.

If you’ve been considering reaching out, this may be your sign. 💚

At its core, The Grove is about community: a space shaped by connection and care. 🌿

From the very beginning, we dreamed of creating a place where connection could grow - between clients, therapists, and the wider community we love. What we didn’t expect was how many people would step forward to help bring that dream to life.

To everyone who built, painted, cleaned, donated, decorated, encouraged, advised, collaborated, and believed in us, thank you. This space belongs to all of us. 💚

With thanks to:
Roberta Pozniak, Jamie Coccimiglio, Sheila Gallagher, Karla Simonds & Trevor Simpson, Sabina Remondi, Jay Scali, Michelle Elliot & Suze Lewis, Saige Burch, Neilo Delbianco, our friends at Home Depot, SSMIC, Classic Signs, and Sugar. Our team: Allannah, Kylie, and Jordan. And to our families and friends for their support, patience, and willingness to come along for the ride

This past weekend, we had the joy of welcoming colleagues and community partners into The Grove for our open house. It was such a meaningful moment to open our doors, share the space we’ve been building, and connect with so many people who support this work and this community. We left feeling full, grateful, and deeply reminded that this space has always been about connection.

As we ring in the new year, we’re stepping into this next chapter as a collective with so much appreciation for the people who walk alongside us. The Grove was created with collaboration, care, and community at its heart, and we’re so excited for what’s ahead as we continue growing together. 🌱✨
