Bipolar disorder is not just mood swings.

It can affect sleep, energy, focus, and even how someone experiences their sense of self. For many people, the challenge isn’t only the diagnosis, it’s learning how to navigate life while feeling misunderstood.

Sometimes, people cope in the only ways they know how. That can include using substances to manage overwhelming highs, lows, or racing thoughts.

At JFT Harm Reduction, the focus is on listening first. Harm reduction creates space to understand patterns, reduce harm, and build support systems that actually fit a person’s real life.
