Spring! In Ayurveda it is known as the Kapha season. Kapha consists of the Earth and Water elements. During the Kapha season we need to have our foods lightly steamed or cooked. Staying away from cold and frozen foods as those aggravate the state of Kapha.
Exercise is very beneficial to balancing Kapha. Try increasing your exercise by brisk walking, Vinyasa Yoga, and weight training.
The wonderful and indulging benefits to keeping Kapha balanced are to dry brush (I'll let you in on a little secret as to where to find a really good dry brush in a moment) the body and then to oil the body with long gentle strokes on the longer b***d tissue areas, and circular strokes on the joints. Staying warm and having seasonal herbs and spices are essential to keeping Kapha balanced.
