Prevent the BOOM! And BUST cycles and enjoy a harmonious experience ♡
Gentle and Steady? I never used to do anything that way.... until I was forced to find a new way to live.
Burnout decimated me, and bewildered me into a state of power-off, power-down and complete surrender.

Today I seek balance, steadiness and gentleness. I strive to BE gentle and steady so my MIND is that way. And my body follows suit.

My nervous system LOVES it here! JOIN ME!

Preserve your reserves ♡ sustain so you maintain ♡

Self compassion is a tender gesture toward ourselves - the helpers, supporters and service providers - who need a full container to do our work.

"You can't pour from an empty vessel" is a well known phrase to remind us to self regulate so we can co-regulate.

Preparing ourself to be available for others is essential.

I know the way out!

From Empty to Empowered is a workbook I wrote as a resource to restore vitality and resilience in your life.

Its not a book you read, its a layered support system you practise. Its not just a guide, its a lifestyle you build upon, and keep going. It takes work.

I made a life-changing decision - I made a commitment to my health and well-being... and its been a beautiful healing journey! By letting go of self-abandonment and remembering I am responsible for my own recovery, I am open to new possibilities.

I feel Empowered. I am free.

I know my hair isn't perfect and my glasses are crooked and all the other things that judgement sees (that filters remove)... I'm me and I show up. I show up messy, and exactly as I am. I Stand strong in my truth.

Release the hour. Start again. Close the loop.

Creating smaller cycles helps support our nervous system because the drive to achieve and execute has a sustainable course and a finish line.

If we continue on at a pace that is not sustainable, we will suffer affects of burnout and chronic stress.

Maybe you've heard about how to eat an elephant??? (symbolically, of course, I would never eat an elephant)
The answer is one bite at a time.... consider mindfully sectioning off your day into manageable bites.

Savor the process, engage your senses. Chew, swallow, digest, rest, transition, then start a new task. It helps bring the finish line closer rather than the line being pushed further and further ahead and never reaching it!

Take a mindful break between tasks. Honor your progress. Appreciate moments of accomplishment. This will increase your sense of purpose, meaning and gratitude throughout your day.
