Although concussions typically resolve within 10–14 days in adults and 4 weeks in children, proper management during this phase can be helpful to prevent persistent symptoms. Appropriate activity modification and gradual return to sport or activities is key.

A variety of treatments may be required for ongoing or persistent symptoms and impairments. This includes exercise, psychological, cervical, and vestibular rehabilitation.

Our Comprehensive Concussion Rehabilitation Program
Assessment & Baseline testing – Thorough evaluation of symptoms, balance, vision, and cognitive function.
Individualized Treatment Plans – Evidence-based therapies tailored to each patient's recovery.
Vestibular & Balance Therapy – To address dizziness, coordination, and balance issues.
Return-to-Work / Return-to-Sport Planning – Gradual, safe reintegration into normal activities.
Education & Support – Guidance for patients and families throughout the recovery process.

Why Choose Selkirk Crossing Physiotherapy:
- Experienced physiotherapists trained in concussion management
- Collaborative care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers
- Evidence-based treatments for optimal outcomes
- Convenient location and flexible appointment scheduling
