Look who came to have dinner and a sleepover! Cindy Hayto is a friend and OT/PT colleague from my Burnaby Home Health days. She is walking the Vancouver Island leg of the Trans Canada Trail, and our house was the second night of her trek. She stayed the first night with Kathy Gallagher OT in Victoria, camped outside on the second night in the Sooke Foothills, and then camped the third night in our carport (nice to get out of the rain) and now she is off to connect with her two brothers Jim Potts (Maple Bay) and John Potts (Ladysmith). John is married to my dear friend, Kathy Potts PT (née Stringer) who I lived with for two years when I was studying Rehab Medicine at UBC ‘73-76. Cindy’s beautiful companion on her trek is her golden retriever Pumpkin 🥰
