Your left side is the portal to your inner world. The space of feeling, receiving, and surrendering.
It’s the part of you that softens instead of strives, that listens instead of pushes.

When this side feels tight or tender, it may be whispering:
“You’ve been doing too much. Come home to yourself.”

✨ The Language of the Body: Right vs. Left ✨

Our body tells stories through balance, not just muscles and bones, but through energy.
Each side carries its own symbolism and lessons:

🌞 Right Side = The doing side.
It represents your masculine energy: action, logic, giving, structure, the external world.
When tension builds here, it can reflect over-doing, over-giving, or feeling pressure to “hold it all together.”

🌙 Left Side = The being side.
It embodies your feminine energy: intuition, emotion, receiving, creativity, the internal world.
Pain or restriction here can speak to what you’re holding emotionally or where you struggle to receive or flow.

☯️ The dance between both is where harmony lives.

When we tune into the body this way, every ache becomes a whisper, guiding us back into balance, between doing and being, giving and receiving, control, and surrender.

I spent the last week in the woods, surrounded by family. Even though the mornings started at 5 a.m. and the days stretched long, there’s something sacred about that rhythm.

We didn’t fill our license, but that’s never the real measure. The privilege is in learning from the generations before us, in pausing to be one with nature.

The smell of the trees carried by the wind. The sound of animals moving and living together. Each raindrop carried away the weight we didn’t know we were holding on to... It's truly cleansing.

I was reminded too of the circle of life, finding beauty even in what remains. A raccoon skull resting quietly on the forest floor spoke of endings but also of continuity.

Hunting, I realize, is not just about the harvest. It’s about presence, respect, and healing.

Today, I had a client who couldn’t make it in. In the past, that might’ve felt frustrating, but honestly, it gave me a gift: a pocket of quiet time.

So here I am, laptop open, coffee beside me, working on new posts to share tips, self-care ideas, and ways massage/ reflexology/lymphatic drainage can help you feel better in your body.

It’s a good reminder that things don’t always go as planned, and that’s okay. Sometimes, those little gaps are exactly what we need to pause, create, and connect in a different way. 💜
