We are thrilled to welcome back a key member of our team for his third year with Able Sail Toronto! Please join us in welcoming back Stefan! 👋⛵️

Stefan is a certified CANSail 3/4 Instructor who brings great experience to our programs. He has instructed across the board, teaching CANSail 1/2 and 3/4, as well as CANSail Para 1 right here at Able Sail Toronto.

A true competitor at heart, Stefan is an avid racer who loves sharing his enthusiasm for racing with his students while coaching 🏁

When he isn't out on the water, he is hitting the books as a second-year Integrated Science (iSci) student at McMaster University!

We are so happy to have his energy and expertise back for another summer. Welcome back, Stefan! Let’s make 2026 the best year yet.

Welcome back Louisa! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Louisa back to the Able Sail Toronto team for her second year! 🎉⛵️ She is so excited to meet everyone this upcoming season.

Louisa is a lifelong sailor and racer, having gained experience on boats both big and small, including racing for the National Yacht Club 🌊. She loves connecting with people and has a strong background in volunteering with various organizations.

Over the past few summers, Louisa has worked at yacht clubs across Toronto, dedicating herself to improving her skills and qualifications—she is currently focusing on working toward her commercial captain license! ⚓️📜

Louisa finds sailing unique in the perseverance and mental fortitude it requires. She believes her own sailing experiences have helped shape the person she is today, and it means a lot to her to be able to help others enjoy the sport. We couldn't agree more with her sentiment: there's really nothing better than being out on the water on a lovely summer day! ☀️😊

Please join us in giving Louisa a warm welcome back for a fantastic 2026 season!

We are pleased to welcome back a familiar, friendly face to the Able Sail Toronto staff for the 2026 season! Please join us in welcoming Max French! 👋⛵️

Many of you will recognize Max, as he volunteered with us in 2025. We are so excited to have him officially join the team.

Max is a CANSail 1/2 Instructor with his CANSail 5 certification, and he previously taught CANSail 1/2 at RCYC in 2024.

He is incredibly passionate about being on the water and is an avid racer, racing 420s and pretty much any other boat he can jump on!

When he's not sailing, Max is busy teaching and staying active. He is also a Ski Instructor at Blue Mountain and a Karate Instructor! ⛷️🥋.

Looking ahead, he is a future Queen’s University student planning to study Finance.

We know Max will excel at everything he puts his mind to, and we are delighted to have him back on board. Welcome, Max! Let's have a fantastic season.
