🕰️ Throwback Thursday!

A patient recently brought in this old bottle of Dr. Bell’s Medical Wonder – Kingston, Ont. 🧴

Back in the day, bottles like this were common “cure-alls” sold in pharmacies — often promising to fix just about everything! While it’s a fascinating piece of pharmacy history, some of the ingredients used back then definitely wouldn’t pass today’s safety standards. 😬

Formulas like this sometimes included belladonna, o***m, chloroform, or alcohol — ingredients once thought to be healing, but now known to have serious risks or addictive properties.
