Comfort food season is still going strong ❄️
This Sunday it’s all about easy, cozy meals that support eye health and keep things light.
No fuss, just feel-good food 🥣

Cozy Spiced Chicken (Easy + Eye-Healthy)👀

Ingredients (serves 2–3)
• 500 g chicken thighs or breasts
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp cumin
• ½ tsp ground coriander
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 2 cloves garlic (minced)
• Salt to taste
• Optional: squeeze of lemon or orange at the end 🍋

(Turmeric + paprika = antioxidants that support eye health)
1. Mix olive oil, spices, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
2. Coat the chicken well and let it sit for 10–15 minutes (or cook right away if you’re in Sunday mode 😌).
3. Pan-cook on medium heat for 6–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
• Or oven-bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes.
4. Finish with a squeeze of citrus if using
Serve it with
• Roasted carrots or sweet potatoes 🥕
• Steamed spinach or kale 🥬
• Brown rice or quinoa for extra comfort

Eye care tips for the New Year
• Toss old or expired eye makeup and skincare products.
Including contact lens solutions and storage cases
Older and expired products can become contaminated and bacteria will begin to grow.
This can result in eye or skin infections.
• Eyeliner and Mascara have a lifespan of 4-6 months once opened.
• foundation and concealer are good for about 1 year.
blush and eyeshadow are good for 1-2
years
lipstick, chapstick about 6-8 months. 💄

ℹ️ Expired eye creams can also cause itching, redness and infection in and around the eyes.
