Team Benny Ben first conquered cancer at the age of 5, when he beat a Wilms Tumor in his left kidney.

After 5 and a half years cancer free, the cancer has returned to his right lung and his battle begins again.

UPDATE: Dr. said yes, but wants to wait for scan results to make the plan. But he's happy to remove his Picc and wants to see him get back to his happy place.

Manifesting our Oncologist giving us the go ahead to take Ben back to our family's happy place. The place we have spent one month a year for the last 9 years. Its where we had a celebration of Ben beating cancer the first time, where we celebrated him being cancer free for 5 years. This year we had to cancel, but in chatting with Childlife, they said Ben's situation is one where they break rules and make things happen. Ben has been feeling really good these last two weeks and so a family trip while he still feels well enough to go is all we want. Sunshine, Vitamin D, fresh fruit and vegetables has to be good for him while he is on his next chemo break. Waiting on that phone call today. Fingers 🤞

Ben is having a great weekend at his cabin. Yesterday he made the full loop on a walk. Back in early Jan he could only do half the loop without getting tired and out of breath. His energy levels are good, his breathing sounds good, even his color is better. We are praying these are all positive signs of tumor shrinkage.

While Ben is at the cabin and I wait for Jake's soccer game, I decided to hang a couple more helmets and organize Ben's room a bit. We just got 10 more coin binders delivered from Amazon today so thats next week's job...with the help of a
some friends and stiff coffee. ☺️
Axes go up next week too once we get the appropriate hangers for them.
Im hoping once we get the rest of the coins in binders we can get an approximate count as many people have asked. I think we are world record territory here. Easily over 3000 coins from all over the world. ❤️

Ben is feeling great today! These days when he is feeling so good, it definitely helps Cory and I keep a positive mindset. These days all we want is to sprinkle as much joy and fun into Ben's days, especially when he has the energy for it.
