After many years of dedicated service, Sandra Chartrand will be retiring on April 15th from the Sicamous Community Health Centre (SCHC).

Throughout her time here, and previously alongside Dr. Beech — Sandra has been so much more than a team member. She has been a steady presence, a compassionate professional, and a familiar, comforting face for so many in our community.

Sandra’s commitment to patient care, her kindness, and her unwavering dedication has impacted her colleagues and the many patients she has served. She has helped shape the heart of our clinic, and her contributions will not be forgotten.

On behalf of the entire community, thank you, Sandra, for your years of service, compassion, and excellence. You will certainly be missed — but we are so excited for you as you begin this next chapter.

Wishing you a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, and all the things you love most.

With Heartfelt Gratitude,
The SCHC Team

The Centre for Rural Health Research at the University of British Columbia and the BC Rural Health Network are researching the costs and experiences of rural families who must leave their communities to access autism diagnostic and support services.

If you are the parent or guardian of an autistic child or youth, please consider participating in this survey to help improve understanding of the out-of-pocket costs for rural families leaving their communities to access support services.
