My family and I attended the Cenotaph in Sicamous on the 11th to honor those who served and those who fell in defense of Canada and her allies.

Our son, Peter, himself a Canadian Veteran, accompanied the Silver Cross mother as she laid her own wreath.

It was wonderful to see so many from the community and beyond attend to share this important event.

Thanks to your generosity last year, we donated 4 full boxes of used glasses to Optometry Giving Sight and sent away your monetary donations as well!

During this year's Optometry Giving Sight campaign, we invite you to again donate your old or unused eyewear to those unable to access or purchase needed vision correction. In addition, we will repair and adjust your glasses for a donation to this worthy charity.

Optometry Giving Sight runs September to October this year - however, we do collect used eyewear all year long.
