🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation / Orange Shirt Day 🧡

Today, our residents and staff came together in the spirit of reflection, learning, and respect. We wore orange shirts to honor Survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never made it home.

As part of our day, we shared in traditional foods, including Bannock bread and manoomin (wild rice and berries), as a way to experience and appreciate Indigenous culture together.

This day reminds us of the importance of listening, remembering, and continuing to walk the path of reconciliation. Every Child Matters. 🧡
