🐎🧧 Happy Chinese New Year! 🧧🐎

Today we had such a wonderful celebration! In the morning, we learned about Chinese calligraphy and had the chance to explore this beautiful and meaningful art form. We also sampled some delicious Chinese snacks — always a hit trying new treats together!

In the afternoon, we tested our luck with a lucky coin toss and everyone got to choose a red envelope filled with a fortune or a special prize.

What a beautiful Family Day luncheon here at Cedar Crossing 💚

It was so heartwarming to see our residents surrounded by their loved ones, sharing laughs, stories, and special moments together. There’s nothing better than a room filled with family, connection, and joy.

A huge shoutout to our incredible culinary team who truly put on quite a spread! From delicious mains to sweet treats, everything was prepared with so much care and it absolutely showed.

💕 Love was definitely in the air at Cedar Crossing this Valentine’s Day! 💕

Our residents and staff celebrated together with a full day of fun, laughter, and plenty of sweet moments. We kicked things off with Famous Pair Trivia, putting everyone’s love-story knowledge to the test, followed by a Valentine’s Scavenger Hunt that had smiles and teamwork all around. The day wrapped up with a lively Valentine’s Party, complete with fantastic entertainment and lots of tasty treats to enjoy.

From festive outfits to heart-filled decorations, everyone showed up in their best Valentine’s spirit wear — and it truly made the day extra special. 💘

💛 Make a Friend Day Fun! 💛

Today was all about connection, laughter, and making new friendships! Our team and residents celebrated Make a Friend Day with a full lineup of activities designed to bring everyone together.

👯‍♀️ Staff and residents had a blast dressing alike with a friend, showing off some amazing matching outfits and lots of personality.

⚡ We hosted Speed Friending, giving everyone a chance to meet someone new, share stories, and spark new connections.

🔎 The afternoon wrapped up with a Find a Friend Scavenger Hunt, filled with teamwork, smiles, and plenty of laughs along the way.

It was a beautiful reminder that friendship has no age limit — and every day is brighter when we share it with others. 💕

We’d like to send a huge thank you to the Norfolk County Library for visiting our community and treating our residents to such a fantastic astronomy talk and trivia session. The presentation was incredibly engaging, informative, and sparked so many great conversations and questions!

Our residents had an amazing time exploring the wonders of space, testing their knowledge, and learning something new together. We truly appreciate the time, energy, and passion you brought — it made for a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved.

Today was a deliciously fun one! Our residents rolled up their sleeves and created their very own mini pizzas from scratch! From choosing toppings to adding their personal flair, there were smiles (and amazing smells) all around.

Moments like these are what community is all about — creativity, connection, and of course… great food!
