At Ferris Funeral Home we believe in honoring life not only through the services we provide, but also through the ways we give back to our community. This year, we are proud to donate $2500.00 to Riversyde 83, a project of Church Out Serving, a unique-to-Norfolk charity dedicated to strengthening our community through food, hospitality, and support programs.
Riversyde 83 is more than a gathering place—it’s a hub of kindness, connection, and community impact. Experience their warm hospitality in the café eatery, explore all-things food in the community kitchen, or host your next event in one of their inviting on-site spaces.
Because Riversyde 83 is a charity-driven initiative, proceeds from their Foodhub—along with generous donations—directly support essential community food services and programs. Their mission aligns beautifully with our own values of care, compassion, and service.
