ABEL Enterprises ABEL Enterprises is a local charity that has been supporting community members who live with a mental illness or addiction for over 40 years! events.

Abel Enterprises is a local charity that has been supporting community members who live with a mental illness or addiction for over 40 years! From its beginning of 5 men who formed a grassroots work group to provide yard work in Simcoe, the Group has grown to a registered charity that provides a variety of supports and programs for people in our community. From building furniture, wooden products

and crafts, to FUNdraising events in the community, there are lots of ways to get involved with an active and fun group of Members who play as hard as they work. Our goal is to get people back and active, whether its becoming part of our Vocational Rehab therapeutic woodworking shop, to meeting with our ACE Program to help you find a job, to helping out at our Bingos, concession booths and Smash-it! Our next Monday Night Bingo is a special event celebrating Mother’s Day on Monday, May 11th!

In addition to the usual cash prizes, there will be fun draws featuring door prizes from local businesses!

Each player will also receive a tulip on their way in, thanks to Jarja Floral International, who have once again stepped up to help us celebrate Mother's Day at our Special Edition Mother’s Day Bingo!

The doors at the Simcoe Legion will open at 5:00, and as our special edition bingos tend to fill up fast, it is best to arrive early. Saving seats will not be permitted; it is first-come, first-served, so come early to avoid disappointment!

This is one you don't want to miss, as we also have a BIG SURPRISE that evening!

If your business would like to donate a prize, please email abelfundraising@gmail.com. For larger donations (minimum $100 value), we will add your business name and logo to our poster and on the screens at the event.

He is also someone who gives back to our community, and with it being National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are taking a look at how our GOLD sponsors give to our community in so many ways!

Dan Wiest works seven days a week helping Crime Stoppers, the Ontario Provincial Police as well as other police services throughout our area. He is particularly proud of his free pet reunion service which helped reunite hundreds of lost pets with their families over the years.
