WE HAVE TICKETS!

We are once again doing our part to help The Greens At Renton raise funds for their Annual Community Day in June, which benefits ABEL Enterprises and 19 other local charities!

We also have tickets for their big 50/50 draw that wraps up the day of the big event!

We hosted our first Volunteer Team Meeting of 2026 last Tuesday, after a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner catered by So Mexican Eatery!

Vera and her team have been great supporters of ABEL since they opened and we appreciate them - and their delicious food! There were even burgers and fries for those who "don't do Mexican".

We were so busy digging in that we didn't get pictures of these serving trays heaped with yummyness, but we got one of Tara when we brought them back to their Simcoe Town Centre location.
EDIT: Volunteer Team member Aaron snapped a pic and shared it with us! (There was also rice!)

A big thank you to Hope Harbour Ministries for bringing in lots of extra food for our Members to share.
Also a big thank you to Michele for making up lunches for everyone from some of the food donated in for our fun Friday activity.
AND a big thank you to Gail Catherwood for baking us up a big bunch of cookies!

ISO helmets with face shields! (Adults)

We are going up against the South Coast Special Needs Kids Inc. on Sunday March 1st in a friendly game of sledge hockey, and we need some helmets!

Ideally, we would have them donated or lent to us, as we only need them for a couple hours.

We are preparing to take on the South Coast Special Needs Kids Inc. in a game of sledge hockey on Sunday March 1st!
