I'm a clinical social worker, trauma therapist, and manifestation coach dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey of change, growth, and self-discovery. I empower clients to become their best selves through Manifestation Therapy, integrating a range of evidence-based modalities including Brainspotting, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Motivational Interviewing. From an attachment-based and somatic perspective, I focus on healing through emotional processing, exploring how early imprinted messages and belief systems can hold us back. By releasing these stored patterns, we unlock the potential to become who we truly desire to be. We are not our stories, and neither is the adverse experiences or trauma you have been through. Maybe you don’t need a new identity. Maybe your nervous system just needs to feel safe.

We’re told we need to become someone else to manifest the life we want.
A new identity. A new version. A total reinvention.
And yet your body can’t leap when it still feels unsafe.

created and hosted NBC’s long running celebrity interview series Talk Stoop filmed on her Brooklyn front steps. Over nine years she interviewed hundreds of guests and won four Emmy Awards.

Then she got fired.

Losing her job cracked everything open. Cat believed she would never return to journalism. What followed was a dark night of the soul that led her not to a traditional comeback but to sobriety and self reclamation.

In this clip from the podcast, Cat Greenleaf shares how losing her career ultimately led her back to herself.

She began bringing recovery meetings to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and men. That work inspired the founding of the nonprofit Restorative Housing Organization dedicated to training formerly incarcerated individuals to renovate undervalued New York City waterfront properties.

In September 2024 she launched Soberness, a space for honest conversations about recovery, identity, and becoming real again.

Sometimes the ending you did not choose becomes the beginning that saves you.

The inhale before the return of light.

Winter Solstice isn’t about pushing forward.
It’s about allowing what’s been growing quietly in the dark to take root.

What you release now doesn’t need explanation.
What’s arriving doesn’t need rushing.

Rest is productive here.
Stillness is intelligent.
The dark knows how to hold you.

Light will return,

Absolutely nothing needs to be forced, wrapped up, or completed right now.

The days around the Winter Solstice invite a natural pause, a quiet threshold between what has been and what is still forming. This is a time when the nervous system benefits from less effort, not more. From stillness, the body releases what it no longer needs to carry, and the mind softens its grip on urgency.

As the year turns, you don’t need to decide what comes next. Clarity doesn’t arrive through pushing or planning in these moments, it emerges when there is space to settle, integrate, and breathe.

Let this season support you in slowing down, releasing emotional residue, and allowing the next step to come in its own time. Rest here. The light returns when it’s ready.

As the year comes to a close, many people feel pressure to “wrap things up”. To make decisions, focus on deep insights, make meaningful goals.

In reality, meaningful clarity often comes after the pause, not before it.

When the nervous system is given space to connect and calm, without urgency or demand it integrates experiences more effectively. This is where learning consolidates, perspective shifts, and next steps become clearer.

If you’re carrying uncertainty right now, it doesn’t mean you’re unprepared.

It may be a sign that your system is recalibrating. Allowing that process can be one of the most effective ways to support sustainable growth moving forward.

Not everything needs to be resolved before it can be released.

And not every question needs an answer right now.

As the year begins to soften, there can be pressure to make meaning, find clarity, or decide what comes next. But sometimes the most supportive thing you can do for yourself is to pause and allow the not-knowing to exist without trying to fix it.

Clarity often arrives after rest, not effort.
Integration happens quietly, beneath the surface, when the nervous system feels safe enough to settle.

If you’re in a season where things feel unfinished or unclear, let this be a gentle reminder: you are not behind. Trust that what needs to emerge will do so in its own timing. For now, it’s enough to breathe, soften, and stay connected to yourself.
