It’s Giving Tuesday, Sooke! On this global day of giving, we invite you to uplift the heart and strength of our community with a donation through our Canada Helps account: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/sooke-co-operative-association-of-service-agencies/
❤️ Give today. Care today.
PS. Giving Tuesday is a global movement created to combat the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Please give generously - our community needs it more than ever.

Did you know...

We have an exciting new service for people in Sooke without a primary care provider.

We are pleased to share that the Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse with the Sooke Outreach Service are piloting health screening services for individuals without a primary care provider and have difficulty accessing preventive care.

🧡 Office Closure – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Our office will be closed on Tuesday, September 30th.

This day is an opportunity to honour the Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and acknowledge the ongoing impacts on Indigenous families and communities.

We encourage everyone to take time to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful actions towards reconciliation.

Join the community in honouring National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Tuesday, September 30th in Sooke. The day begins with an Opening Ceremony at 11:30 AM at 2008 Murray Road, followed by a Healing Walk to John Phillips Memorial Park where there will be performances, cultural sharing, food vendors, and a closing ceremony at 4 PM.

This important community event was initiated locally and is supported by many partners. The Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce will be present as volunteers, and we encourage everyone to attend, reflect, and stand together in the spirit of truth and reconciliation.
