This holiday season, Sooke Region Communities Health Network and the Sooke Gathering Place extend heartfelt thanks to our entire community for the care, kindness, and support you show one another throughout the year. We are honoured to serve and help build healthy, connected communities from East Sooke to Port Renfrew—and we couldn’t let the holidays pass without expressing our deep gratitude. ’Tis the season to celebrate with warmth and good cheer. We hope you find comfort, joy, and connection throughout the holiday season.
Please note that our office will be closed from December 20 and will reopen on January 5. As we take time to reflect on the meaningful connections made throughout the year, we look forward with optimism to all that the new year will bring.
While this season is often filled with joy, we also recognize that it can be a difficult time for some. Support is available—Sooke Family Resource Centre offers walk-in counselling appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please call 250-642-5152 for more details.

A huge thank you to Home Hardware for the generous holiday mugs, Sherry for the fun crafts, and Up Sooke Eatery for the delicious turkey lunch. Thank you to Steve, Merisa, Lilah, and Alyiah for the festive music, and to the Otter Point International Folk Dancers for their wonderful performance.
We are so grateful to all the volunteers who helped with serving and clean-up. It was a truly joyful day, made possible by such an incredible community. ✨
